Q. How old do you need to be in order to attend bartending school?
A. You may learn and get your certificate after you pass the final exam in Michigan as long as you are at least 18 years old.

Q. Do I need a high school diploma or GED to be a bartender?
A. No. Bartending is career training and no special educational background is needed. Our school teaches bartending to students of all ages and backgrounds and when they pass the final exam they are job ready bartenders who go on to work in the hospitility industry nationwide.

Q. Will I learn how to bartend using real alcohol?
A. No. At Professional Bartending School, we use simulated alchol in the bottles that are similiar to the “real thing”. This allows our students to become familiar with the variety of bottles and brands so we can help you increase your efficiency and speed when you actually work in your new bartending career.

Q. How will I know if the drinks recipes are correct?
A. All the flavor profiles of the various drinks and spirits are part of your course. You will learn to measure alcohol and mixers to ensure consistency first then we will work with students to learn speed and free pouring techniques.

Q. What If I am unable to attend a schedlue class, is there a way to make it up?
A. We do offer flexible scheduling if for some unforseen reason you are unable to attend a class. We provide a number of classes on an ongoing basis. Just speak to an admissions representative to schedule your missed class. c

Q. What if i need additioanl classes to grasp the course material?
A. Professional Bartending School of Michigan provides an open door policy alloing students to reattend any classes that they feel they need more work on to perfect. We are proficient in adult education and know that some people learn at a different To schedlue repeat classes, contact admissions.
